The Kasper Project features exclusive works celebrating the bull terrier as muse  and includes collaborations with artists from around the globe.

The concept was to bring together artists from the online bull terrier community to showcase their unique interpretations and creative expressions inspired by this unique and beloved breed. This initiative aimed to highlight the diversity of artistic styles while fostering a greater appreciation for the breed's characteristics and charm.

As an artist and bull terrier owner, I found that my bull terriers Kasper and Luna provided endless inspiration for expression and creativity across various mediums. As a designer whose passion runs to useful art, I integrated their playful spirit into functional pieces that elevate everyday experiences. My bag range with Zatchels UK reflects this philosophy by combining elegance with practicality, offering an opportunity to  express individual style while meeting daily needs effortlessly.

The Kasper is a timeless saddle bag with carry handle and removable shoulder strap. It comes in a vast array of options but the one that sung to me was the white.. the perfect blank canvas. So much opportunity for creativity and customisation!

I wondered what other creatives would do with such a canvas. I reached out to nine others who were friends of mine via Instagram. I sent each one a white Kasper, allowing each individual to add their unique touch and create something truly special.

The project began in August 2024 and the finished bags will be part of an exhibition in February 2025, celebrating everything bull terrier. The exhibition will take place in Croydon, London at Turf Projects, 46-47 Trinity Court, Whitgift Centre, CR0 1UQ. Opening times: 11am-5pm daily. The exhibition will be interactive with me there in person to help you design your own Kasper bag and answer any questions you might have about the creative process.
